They are stupid arguments when you are using adjusted stats. The adjusted stats level the playing field by looking at a player's stats relative to their contemporaries each season. To say "so and so would have sucked in this era or so and so would have been awesome in that era is useless. Our only tool is to use the stats and determine how good players were relative to their era.

Ovechkin had dominated goal scoring in his era more than any player in history.

Funny, Seguin whined to the media he wasn't getting a contract offer last summer like it was some huge insult. Only then did they step up and offer him one. They should have kept him waiting.

From what I hear, the Stars CEO is batshit crazy. Apparently a few ago at a STH meeting he told them the tickets would increase by like 30% over the next few years and told them they "owed it" to the Stars to pay the increase.
