Won't really have much of a choice given the dead weight on the roster. Probably go with a Demko + journeyman veteran backup combo. Better than re-signing Markstrom & losing Tanev. Not that Tanev is anything special but nobody can replace his defensive minutes on the blueline (save Edler).

it’s too bad babs wasn’t really what this group of kids needed and turned out to be a legit sociopath.
 
I always respected Lou's no facial hair policy. It's kinda oppressive, but sort of like an army general is to his troops. I feel like when Lou left, a bit of that old school discipline went with him, and it was still important for these kids to have it. I would like to see a bit of a tighter, stricter ship run. Gotta turn these guys into trained assassins.

Not only a sociopath, but such an egomaniac that he refused to coach a style that better suited the team's strengths because it's not how he wants to play hockey.
 
Also, pelech is an underrated beast. For $1.6m.


His injury was the reason they fell apart in the 2nd half.
 
Aside from fucking the cap with some truly stupid signings (M&Z), I don't have much against Lou. He helped to turn this franchise around at the management level nicely. His love for grinders, doesn't impress me though.
