Missed this earlier, but Alexander Holtz and Akira Schmid were traded to Las Vegas for Paul Cotter & a 2025 3rd round pick.
 
I'm waiting to see when there's going to be a GM that's able to regularly identify early on that his first/second round picks aren't going to pan out & trade them before the other organizations realize it too.

The Oilers pulled a real fast one on Nashville last year when they traded a 1st + Reid Schaefer for Eckholm. One of Nashville's scouts was on the radio live when the trade happened and he was ecstatic. Problem is, Reid Schaefer's not very good.
