David Johnson
Mr. Johnson passed away last year at the age of 97. He left behind a substantial photographic record of Black San Francisco, examples of which are below. Images from the Fillmore, San Francisco's former primarily Black neighborhood, are included. I hope you enjoy perusing them as well as the article.
