I’m not convinced that was even going in if it wasn’t for hutch directing it in himself. On replay it didn’t even look like that puck was going to end up crossing the line
 
I was referring to the second goal.

The first goal he gave up a rebound but Ceci and Timashov just let Gallagher get there.
 
that shift was awful. all because Nick Shore couldn't shoot the puck down the ice from two feet inside the blueline.

A flubber wrist shot hit him right in the glove. He dropped it into prime real estate, full stop. This isn't the 90's anymore where you get to assault the guy in front of the net to keep him away from the net front.

I said it right after he signed, the odds of him playing out that contract here are not good. He made his choice, enjoy Columbus or Edmonton or wherever the fuck else is willing to overpay for you because they can't get anyone else to go there.

What does this have to do with Hutch dropping an unscreened, flubber wrist shot right in front of the net? The number of other shots he faced in the 1st don't change the fact that Hutch regularly shows an inability to catch or otherwise freeze the puck.

Someone will blow their brains out for him. I'm sure this is about as bad as he can/will play, but that's the issue with demanding the big coin. You wanted 11 millie? Cool, you have to play like an 11 million dollar hockey player, no more time for "aw shucks, he looks like he's 12". He's got 4 points 5 on 5 this year, 0 goals and he's looked lost whenever Tavares hasn't been there to hold his hand.
 
I thought before the season that Muzzin would be the better guy to sign over Barrie. He brings stuff no one else has on the backend.

Looks like I picked a good period to miss.
 
Why does it seem like the announcers only ever mention "analytics" when Toronto is getting buried?
