No that was 1000000x Morgan rielly. Marner was at the end of a shift and skating to get off the ice. Rielly threw a pass to him in traffic in the neutral zone, on his back foot. And then rielly stepped up after making that pass. That was a brutal play and is the type of play/decision that Rielly makea regularly and that is just fucking killer.

Wasn't high risk at all though, Marner was in space and the only available out for him




Bertuzzi is up at the blueline, and that helmet you see by the furthest left stanchion at the bottom is Tavares. Marner was in space, accepted the pass, was barely touched and fell, Mo made the mistake of following the play and then Benoit let the pass through on overload play to the net.

Mo's mistake wasn't the pass, it was following the pass expecting Marner to do something with it.
