In hindsight, no. But if Bussi were injured it would have.I mean, does it really matter all that much?
If they were planning on KK with Bussi backing him up. Then they took the ice for the warmup and KK couldn’t go. They’d have to go with Bussi right? How would that be a mess up. I expect they REALLY wanted to get KK a start. Not having Freddie as the backup? I’m not seeing how this was a huge mess up.It didn't matter... but yeah, discussing things is kinda what we do around here, from big picture state of the business stuff, to successes and failures on the ice, to minutiae of the CBA.
Freddie was in the locker room in the post game video the Canes posted on the socials.(or Freddie had already been sent back to Raleigh to rest for Saturday
Maybe that's the solution with KK...PLAY HIM IN GOAL!If they were planning on KK with Bussi backing him up. Then they took the ice for the warmup and KK couldn’t go. Ah, missed that, thanks! I didn't think that would have been the case but since they're not saying, it leaves us to guess with our incomplete info.Freddie was in the locker room in the post game video the Canes posted on the socials.
I decided to go with the "Germans?" "Forget it, he's rolling" approach rather than call that out, but good one! I do hope he (KK) gets a fresh start somewhere next year, because I think it's over here for him.Maybe that's the solution with KK...PLAY HIM IN GOAL!![]()
To clarify, I mean on that scale as well. Kooch probably isn’t actually ready to play in an NHL game right now so my position is that it’s better if he just stays in Chicago for right now and at least play out the schedule with the Wolves. They’ve still got three games left, so maybe let him play a couple of those while they play out the string and then let him join the playoff roster with the big club. By then he’ll have enough live action under his belt to be reasonably ready to play.It didn't matter... but yeah, discussing things is kinda what we do around here, from big picture state of the business stuff, to successes and failures on the ice, to minutiae of the CBA.

For me personally, I think it’s a good thing he couldn’t play at best and irrelevant at worst. Therefore … doesn’t matter.
