I don't see Horachek taking him off the PP just yet. Maybe under this new system they'll find a use for him infront of the net.

So many ways it could go, the next month or so will be interesting. We have until the trade deadline to really see where we are. If we are out, sell off some of our guys before they leave as FA.
 
Problem is there's no clear replacement with Holland and Lupul out.

Though Komo probably deserves a shot.
 
Throw Panik out there.

I'm curious to see who will flourish in this new situation, and who will flop.

We need Gardiner and Rielly to be the guys that flourish under a new coach.
 
The Leafs should win. Most teams win the initial game after a coaching change.
 
I just hope that Horachek is good with the young guys. He was a developmental coach for much of his career. Tough to have key injuries for the coaching change. Let's see how much time he give McKegg tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if the 4 minutes Carlyle gave him in Winnipeg wasn't the last straw. Carrick is up as well.

Very long overdue to have Kadri as the top centre. Man, that has been burning me for a good two years.

Hopefully, Clarkson is on a much shorter leash. I'd too vote for Panik on the PP over Clarkson.
 
They showed a stat today that all teams that have changed coaches this season have lost their 1st game.
 
It's really a shame. All these fancy screens and tech in Sportsnet's studio, and then the camera goes on Healy, Kyper, MacLean...

Totally dropped the ball on this thing. Can't say I'm surprised though, SN has always had the very worst crews and commentators.
 
Rookie Carrick blows the coverage for the goal. Shame as that's their only real chance so far.

Still too many turnovers at our blue line tho.

Effort seems to be there at least.
 
I don't understand the no visor thing, even though it probably wouldn't have helped in that situation.
 
And the ****ing mouth breathers focus on a line change. Holy **** the media is scary destructive in this market.
