GDT Maple Leafs @ Tampa Bay (TSN)

LOL 42-26 SOG for Tampa.

In the first period the Tampa broadcasters made a joke about how Bernie is so good facing 40 shots or more and that they should tell the Tampa bench to stop at 39. :)

that stop on, i think, hedman, with 45 seconds to go spoke volumes, imo.

i don't watn to pin the meltdown on reimer, who played well in the series... but that was what they didn't get in the last minute of that boston series. or in OT.

Bernier's rebound control is a lot cleaner than Reimer's, absolutely. He'll puke way more of those out into the slot than Bernier does. When he's on though, stuff like the Carle goal deflects off of his shoulder and out of play.

That didn't look good with Gleason there. He's been pretty decent as a Leaf so that would be unfortunate.

It would downright suck. Gleason is making up for a lot of Franson bullshit out there. I have no faith in Ranger or...ugh..Fraser picking up for him if he's out, and I have no desire to see Gardiner and Rielly against better competition right now.

That was a dirty hit, there is NO excuse to hit a guy from behind. It looked to me like he was favouring his leg or hip on the play, hopefully its nothing serious for his sake or the teams.

It was St Louis who got rejected by Bernier.

Hedman and St. Louis, they're practically twins out there.

He's talking about the Hedman point shot in the final minute, not St. Louis getting robbed.

It was actually Radko Gudas who took that shot though.....if it's the one I'm thinking of. (Blast from the point that Bernier absorbed and froze)
