Hopefully the last home game of the series.
The Canes withstood early pressure from the Caps on Saturday and Freddie kept them in the game until they found their game. Svech jumped a lost faceoff and beat Thompson blocker side high to break the ice. Roslovic cashed in on the first of 2 power plays, and it was academic after that. RBA put his lines in the blender, shifting wings to all but Roslovic’s line and it worked. They’re skating the same lines this morning as they finished Saturday, so Jankowski is still out. Andersen isn’t skating, should just be a rest day.

The Caps came away a little bewildered that they couldn’t cash in on their early opportunities. They haven’t gotten anything from their top line and Carlson looks like he aged more than Burns in the last week. Thompson has been good, but he’s had to be, facing a constant barrage of shots.
TNT for TV, Kenny Albert is back in the play by play chair. John Forslund has the National radio call if anyone wants to sync. Mike and Tripp are on The Fan.
