Two loses now on the ends of back to back is a tough pill to swallow

But overall they did play well. The other Andy just played better

They need more production from Kadri’s line. Overall the team is not looking sharp and we look more like first round fodders then contenders
 
It's gotta be one of the most frustrating games to watch this season ... all game long the puck was bouncing, off a stick, off the skate, off the ice ... the passes are always 'there' but not quite, half an inch away from the stick, hit a leg, just behind the stick ... and then, just when we tie the game, it's short lived every time. And, inspite of all that, we were actually the better team and dominated the Sens.

Still, it's the freaking Sens and we should have won these games. These are points we can't let slip away.
 
Leafs record with Polak:

11-13-2 - that includes 3 SO wins. They have 8 ROW in his 26 games in the lineup. .462 P%
On the flip side, they're 14-4-1 without him, with 13 ROW in 19 games without him. .763 P%

The most galling thing is that Babcock says it's a learnin' thing, and he's correct, but he amplifies the error margins with poor roster decisions.
Just ugh.

The Kadri line has had no chemistry all year. When Kadri was beasting it didn't matter. When he's not able to carry it though, the lack of chemistry shows big time.
 
Even Marleau looks lost now

He looked better centering his own line

With the current lineup it's not a contender. Changes can be made within to give them.a better chance but still need outside help to give them a chance at a run

Would like to see Calgary go on a run and knock the Sharks out of a spot and grab Jumbo at the deadline.

Or in prefect world grab Tavares for a run

The Leafs played a good game. They had almost 100 shot attempts, and out chanced the Sens 46-26. They had the 3rd most 5 on 5 shot attempts in a game this year.

The Sens had a couple of really lucky bounces leading to goals. One of those games.

yup.

I thought the Marner line played one of their best games of the season, especially defensively. There was one shift in particular where I remember the forwards (Marner and Bozak both) bailing out the third pair D in our own zone. Don't see that very often.

Anderson came to play, and a few bounces going the wrong way and here we are. Tough game to go out on before the bye, but hopefully it lights a bit of a fire for when they come back. Results have been slipping for a while now, although tough to argue with how they played for the vast majority of the past two.
 
Polak playing top 4 minutes at 5v5 is painful to see.

15 minutes last night. Any team playing a guy like that in your top 4 us going to struggle to win

Hyman led all forwards with 17.35. Good to see Willy and Matthews at 2/3 with 15.6 minutes a piece but again guys like Hyman shouldn't be leading fowards in ice time
 
Matthews should get around 20 mins a night. I just don’t Babcocks icetime useage and tbese lines. There better be some sort of long term agenda at play here because a lot of players are currently being mis-used
