Not sore about anything. I just don't like the condolences and sending prayers BS that always happens in these situations. Your thoughts, prayers and condolences don't mean anything. Especially for a famous guy you don't actually know.
We're all on our way out. Conduct yourself accordingly.

I grew up not being a huge fan of the Hip, but I am respectful of music and when music is genuine and I know speaks to a group of people, I respect it. There are some fantastic songs that I really like, but my best memory was being hammered on NYE with friends up north and Wheat Kings came on and they all sang it word for word. I didn't know it but it very quickly touched me.
my fave is Boots and Hearts. I am more of a greatest hits type of guy.
Sad, I'd love to see this last show though just to be a part of it, but I don't deserve to be there.

My favourite song of theirs is Pigeon Camera. Going to try and get tix for the August show if Gord is about to leave us.

Phenomenal song... hugely underrated. One of my all time favorites too.
I'm going to do everything I can to see them in Edmonton on July 28th. We have a group of at least 10 trying to get tickets.
For sure, are you planning to go? And do you have connections to help us get tickets?

I am not planning on it (may or may not be going to a wedding in mexico at that time). Though maybe I should get tickets and if I am out of town I could just sell them....
I do not have connections. Says a limit of 4 tickets. Which sucks if you are trying to get 10+.
We'll be getting there on Thursday afternoon and probably heading back home on Saturday afternoon.... so we should be able to meet up if you're around.

These are live nation events... if you have live nation contacts they can usually put orders through after the initial sellout but at the highest $$ amount. It will likely be how i end up with tickets in toronto or hamilton
Can your connections help you get tickets in Edmonton?
