No. His family was from northern Ontario. He went to Runnymede CI. His dad was a principal with the TDSB.

Grew up a Habs fan.

I taught drama to his class for a week when he was in grade 9

Sounds like he, and wikipedia, disagree with you. You might have the wrong guy.
 
Calling someone from Haiti Jamaican, and vice versa, might be hugely "insulting" to each, but I don't know. The Tonton Macoute might be looking for Stinky.
 
I remember at one time tax/property assessors in QC were referred to as the Bou-Bou Macoute (Robert Bourassa.)

Anyway, f@cking with the Tonton Macoute was not recommended!

When PK was in the ninth grade, I was working as an artist in education at Runningmeade collegiate Institute. I taught him for two weeks there he told me that he was a ham fan and he wanted to play in the NHL. I dismissed him and asked what’s your backup plan his classmates then said no no sir PK’s been drafted by Belleville. He’s good. You tit fuckers don’t know what you’re talking about.
