You make sure you have a tougher center on the fourth line.

The only real mean bitch of a center that's UFA is Bennett and he's a 50-60 point guy at best.

I agree he is not soft, he has a NTC and i doubt he gives the thumb up for a trade to Montreal.. rumor out here is that the Canucks are interested in bringing him back..

If you don't care so much about winning and you just want to live somewhere nice (and you have boatloads of cash, of course) there are worse places to live than Vancouver. You just have to not have any illusions about winning a Cup. But, then again, you could say the same about Toronto.

Watching these teams in round 2 it’s depressing how far we are to get there. And it’s not necessarily roster composition but rather team play. This might take for ever given maturity timelines.

The lack of team depth and scoring is the most obvious for me

It’s all about depth. We were the least deep team in the playoffs by a lot, but we’re still in the building phase.
