Habs Season Thread: Offseason 2025

Reinbacher is Austrian and played in Switzerland. Neither country is known for its flamboyant personalities (except for Adolf Shickelgruber) He's taciturn where Slaf is ebouilliant.

But I've also seen him in after whistle scrums and he doesn't come off as meek by any means. He can be quite truculent when he wants to be. He'll give a guy the stick when they fuck around.

I would definitely look to trade Reinbacher. He doesn’t seem to have the mental makeup to thrive in a market like Montreal. Cut our losses now.
What losses?
Largely . . . but he seems a little unsure of himself . . . but he is only 20 and not everyone has Slaf’s “swagger.”
Redenbacher is playing like a man amongst boys, he went into shutdown mode last game, gave the opposition nothing, no errors, no miscues, no chances at all in Dzone. Quick, hard & precise tape to tape outlets / transition out.

True to his Austrian / Germanic heritage…. efficient.

Heino with an assist in Sweden's 5-0 win over Slovakia today.

He's playing on their third line with Mikael Backlund and Elias Lindholm.

I really liked Heino's game (pre-car accident)......he was amongst the top rookies in the league.

I can see him on our second line one day....he would create space and do the dirty work to get puck for Demidov from corners
