If Nathan MacKinnon is coming back sure. But pending FA (and regressing) Duchene better not be the centre-piece in a trade that big. Colorado sucks for a reason, and I think MD and his contract is a big part of that.

The irony of pining for Duchene is the he's seen his ice time (and scoring) plummet as coaches try to make him more of a 200 ft player.

His stock has dropped quite a bit recently, especially considering his numbers in the Q this year, but, if it's just a blip and he returns to form, we would have bought low and only given up a 3rd liner.
