He asked for my opinion of ACB and playing earnings. I told him it's probably a decent risk-reward play but they're a piece of shit and I would never have the balls to play earnings on a company that's effectively bankrupt. He ignored me and played them anyway.

Turns out their earnings proved they may survive after all. +30% it is. Solid squeeze.
 
I'm a laggard whore. I noticed that too and it make me rock fucking hard. There's huge upside there. Huge.
 
My remaining SPY calls will vaporise today --- a small hedge/sacrifice against my month out bearishness.

yep. I often don't mind. I chased FSLY after hours after their earnings last week....I chased it up $4 (15%) and held for another 9 points
 
I bought some micro gold contracts while I was waiting for the BBQ to heat up last night....and I'm in no rush to sell them. Will just move up my stop.
 
Yeah I don't really see silver fizzling much over the next... Honestly year or two. It may not be parabolic over the entire timeframe and there will be rocky moments, but I feel like we're really not far off from a floor on that one. Risk-reward even at these levels is terrific. I think I am going to wait for a pullback before dumping more money in (if I stick to my thesis and nothing changes my mind). I will probably just stick to the ETF. If the pullback that I want never comes I will gladly accept the unlimited gains in my already decently sized position.
 
picked up some VFF here; earnings "weren't bad" so might get a little jolt.

At the risk of sounding gay, I just want to say thank you for making me a better trader. Every time I look at my account I just straight up can't believe its size right now. What the fuck even happened?

That's good to hear, I'm not sure I did anything. I do think that posting trades or ideas here is helpful because the writing process forces one to synthesize one's thought process into words.

Posting your ideas and plays. I get a glimpse into your mindset and rationale which legitimately makes me think and truly believe that it makes me better at what I do. Even if we have completely different strategies, I genuinely believe it has made me better.
