Hey Nerds: Blockchain

I wonder if this move is at least partially due to the news about them voting in the house on federal legalization. If so it's meaningless since it'll never get to a vote in the Senate but the news coincided with this move a bit. But so did the technicals. Could be a little of column A and B.

Maybe. I think it's big institutions and more traditional investors getting in. I'm seeing smart investors on my feed discussing these MSOs for the first time.

Degenerates like us are early. Don't underestimate that.

There''s a ton of beautiful people like LOF that have no idea what TRUL is.

Yeah plus that ETF that's going to be listed on the NYSE I believe is going to be trading next week. And that's made up of 60% MSOs. Robinhood will have access to MSOs!

How is that even legal? US pots stocks can't list... but an ETF holding them can?

60% of the fund is authorized to be derivatives, ie Swaps. Another entity holds the shares of the US stocks and guarantees the fund the value of the shares. The other 40% can be companies in marijuana related businesses or pharmaceutical companies, like IIPR, GRWG, SMG, ZENA

Curaleaf rejected but Thumb and Trulieve are ripping along. Love to see it. Can see Curaleaf giving it another go here. 3 minutes left! Which is 16 hours on MSO time.

Holding a lil Cresco over the weekend now that some of these names smashed through key resistance and have clearly at least temporarily bottomed. Beautiful day. Folio bringin a tear to my eye. Edit: It's back at all-time highs! Me likey.

Secondary MSOs playing catch-up. Love it when it's as textbook as this. Trul, Cresco and GTII are still close to the top of the list dating back to march of course but they just consolidated. Seems they're about 3-4 weeks ahead of the laggard tier 2s. GTI in particular got the first big boom so it makes sense that they've been slower since. And now the big boys are all about to get hot again. Wewwwww. Let the money shift.

Personally I missed out on just under 10% on TER but I pivoted into others as they consolidated and ended up heavier in MJ overall so my actual dollar gains have greatly exceeded what would've happened if I kept TER. TER was just a beautiful hint for me to keep adding MJ. The lack of consolidation made me bullish. TER will still consolidate at some point though. Chart is just too hot. It will eventually do with the big boys did two weeks ago. So for once I actually feel good about selling too early. Especially since long-term I only really have a massive amount of faith in the biggest of the big boys.

July 8th (or any other date) is arbitrary - just weird to see TER at the top of any heap. It's become my 3rd biggest cannabis position (after TRUL and GTII) due to its growth - will probably use a trailing stop to trim some excess and keep the rest.

Yup. We both entered at a great time. For me it was shortly after the original thumb boom that I rode. Exited about 8-9% too early (maybe worse, we'll see, but I much prefer being in names that already consolidated, are in hourly uptrends and aren't remotely overbought at this stage) and once again my largest position is now thumb for boom part deux. Also bought TRUL cheaper than where I sold which now makes up my second largest position. Curaleaf third - that one has been the weakest of all of em since March. Likely has to do with them not being as discounted as the others; huge market cap and perhaps not THAT far ahead and also lotta cheap paper from the grassroots acquisition unloading shares. But I do think all-time highs is in their future as well. I'm going long-ish with Cresco now too because why not - 4th largest position. I think it's the big boys turn to get some action now. Exciting times.

It feels like you guys have been talking about these forever. Did you get in like thousands of percent ago? It’s part of the reason I’m iffy about joining, that maybe I’ve missed a great run up and from here it could fall hard to a better entry point.

It's still verrrrrry early days my man. The last couple of weeks was a nice time to get in. I even gave you a warning on Thursday about things looking quite bullish despite the pullbacks.

I CAN CONFIRM. WARNING WAS SENT.

5% of your folio should be pot stocks. It's a new consumer category that's already profitable with blue skies ahead.

Yeah you missed getting in at TRUL at $9. So what? Every stock on the planet was on sale then.

Consider the new ETF MSOS. (launching this week) for a more passive way to enter the fray,
