Hey Nerds: Blockchain

been playing with LMND puts -- delicious!

got some SPY puts that are up a few cents -- will dump them if they go red on me.

the rest of the folio is just meh--- even pots stocks seem tired on the last day of the year

Was in on WDC and FUTU but bitched out on both too early.

ENPH had me fooled but got out with a small profit. Meh day overall, onto the next one.

out of all my trading vehicles -- banked some coin. that's a wrap for 2020.

2021

gonna try new rules, my own version of #loadmanagement

trade during mornings only; pop up at 3:30 for closing action

Nice! How are you playing that?
Not pretending I know what will happen to the stock market while simultaneously having truckloads of cash ready to introduce to the market in case everything tanks once people truly comprehend the dangers about what is about to happen to the US.

TSLA made a new ATH today. I wonder how many folks are waiting to cash in their massive profits as soon as 2021 hits? (selling now would mean paying taxes on the gains in a few months)

the covid stats are bad but my 2c is that it won't sell off the same way

a) because folks that panicked last time got fucked while the dip buyers won, so dippers will show up early
b) there is a vaccine -- last time, there was only hope of one, and experts like Fauci said it was a long ways away

if there's a crash, it will be for some other reason other than covid

So we have the current covid stats which suck. Well it's about to get at least 55% worse. By March the UK variant is projected to take over as the majority variant in North America. The US is currently looking at abandoning their vaccine plan of giving everyone two doses scheduled as they were in the trials... They may give everyone a single dose initially and give them a second dose several months later; this is a move of desperation that the medical community cringes at but they recognize that it may be the right move to make because of how dire things are about to be. The vaccines were not approved in thsi way and Pfizer has already stated there is 0 data to back up any efficacy if administered this way.

So what if they go with that strategy and it doesn't work? We have the majority of the country vaccinated and we were told we'd go back to normal shortly after but the virus hasn't ceased spreading. What now?

TLDR: Normalcy is priced in and I'm not convinced we get it in 2021. Scientists are panicking and it's reminding me too much of January.

Come to think of it, it's amazing to me that we still don't have rapid testing... That's probably the best and easiest way to get out of this tbh. Maybe that becomes a priority for Joey Bides. I'm guessing that's the next priority if the vaccination efforts don't control the spread.

Thank you. I'm not saying to go bearish. That's dumb. But it's worth keeping an eye on shit. If we don't get normalcy in 2021 the next crash will ABSOLUTELY be covid related. 10000000000000%. Normality is priced in HARD. A year of a failed vaccination program and hundreds of thousands more deaths ain't gonna cut it for the mercato IMO.

There's that and a 55% more transmissible covid is like really really really really serious. So serious that several countries are planning on administering vaccines in a way that hasn't even been proven to be effective. Desperation, folks.
