Well last week I positioned myself so that in the case of an absolute catastrophe, I'm sitting real fucking pretty even in my long ports. So if we get death I'm fine. Going to keep an eye on volume today. If it's increasing on further bearish downside that's no bueno for bulls. Yesterdays volume was a decent uptick on last weeks' pathetic volly, but nothing too catastrophic. If we start to increase daily on bearish action I'd be concerned.
Get ready for a slow death
More grim news with millions more unemployed this week
When the carnage ends putting the pieces back together will be the biggest challenge the global world will ever had to face
The markets have been disconnected from the real world for a decade but this unlike anything we have seen before
Dotcom and financial crisis are peanuts compared to this carnage , sectors of the economy will be decimated
There is no V shaped recovery on the horizon
The pain is too global and debt levels , credit markets , unemployment , etc... will need years to recover
The world isnt built to contract as a whole , certain segments always change but not like this death spiral
Eh, I don't see how that can be true.
There's no real reason why things shouldn't bounce back relatively quickly when the virus is under control, as long as governments give smart support to small businesses.
I see that a lot but she won't have as much power as people are suggesting.Plus, Warren in Biden's cabinet is bad for Wall St.

Oh yeah stocks won't like that. But we were speakign about real life macro shit, and there won't be any impact there.I tend to agree but fear ain't rational....Perception is sometimes reality.
The fear is real right now. Trulieve getting the unlock dump. Yeesh.Gold ripping. NEM has been a great RRSP hold.
SLV getting it done.
Bulls don't want much more slippage here -- 2750 kind of a big deal.
But some bear porn caught my eye, namely whales are buying VIX calls in ridiculous amounts, reminiscent of February action.
Except, corporations always use downturns to axe a ton of jobs. Recovery will bel slow -- if that's not priced in, it will have to at some point.
Plus, Warren in Biden's cabinet is bad for Wall St.
Anyway, enough of this macro stuff. Today has been a glorious repeat of yesterday's morning. Rode SPX down for 20 straight points. 75% of my day is done.
