And do any of you think Kadri is happy? After getting ****kked around by this organizations odd couple, Wilson and Burke for how many years?

Nonis was ordered to get rid of Reimer and Phaneuf. He hasn't accomplished either of those orders. He has gotten, finally, an NHL goaltender that isn't a total choke. He also toughened up as ordered, via Clarkson.

But he has his number one dman and his number one center embarassed, and looking at 2.3 million each for the year.

If you guys think things are swell in Leafland, well just put a little more oil in the footpedal cars you all are driving.

Leafs and Kadri still far apart in contract negations. Kadri's camp started with 6mill per for 6 years, willing to go down to 5mill..(cont)
Hearing the counter for Kadri has been in the 2 x 3 mill range which makes it difficult. Far apart in both term and cash.
Leafs biggest concern remains Kadri's production dropping off significantly over the last 19 games including playoffs.

Franson is considered even more important that Kadri. Soon enough you guys will understand the business of hockey, the in betweens of hockey etc.. And put away your joysticks and corsi's.

Nonis and Tanenbaum really, really ffed up here. Thinking no GM, no scout, no discerning FAN saw how Phaneuf fumbled away game seven. They think GM's remember how good Phaneuf was in the regular season. They do, but they do NOT want a guy who was pushed away like aspoiled disinterested child from the front of his net in the biggest game of his organizations DECADE. Both financially and hockey related.

Is there a stat for that? No there isn't. Stats are good, but this type of shit, just leaves the average mole in a hole.
 
I think Kadri will get signed. If one of them is moved it will be Franson, as we have Ranger to step in to Franson's spot and nobody even on the horizon to step into Kadri's.
 
We never truly know what goes on in places we can't be, but I feel like Kadri has butted heads with this org since day one...whether it was his doing or theirs in different circumstances...I am afraid that it won't be hard for him to move on.

This is some George and Jane Jetson bullshit.

Steve Yzerman clearly invited Dion Phaneuf to the Team Canada camp because he sees him as one of the best left handed shooting defensemen in the league. My contacts at MLSE say they treat teeds as a COURT JESTER. Total jinglebell.

Dion will be resigned before the season is over. Lead pipe cinch.

Who is the punk in Kadri? It's not you, is it?
 
The longer this takes the more likely a deal will be made to move some player(s). Although he had a relatively strong season, im not sold on Kadri being a legit 2nd line center yet. Same goes for Franson who had a solid year, but has yet to establish himself as a legit top-4 defender.

Ideally we move out Liles to make room.
