Leafs/Habs/Sens 2014-15

You don't keep all the revenue for the first round as I understand you share the $$ with the NHL for playoff winnings for the players. Old Burke said once that you only get half the revenue.
 
Maybe that's true, or maybe it's management crying poor like they always do.

Doesn't matter anyway, the TV money should cover most of the operating expenses the team incurs, including payroll.

Lol. The irony here is that ask I read here is that the Habs fans are afraid of the Sens. I didn't go running. It's all good man, I'm sure you'll lurk and if you have something to add you will.

Easy now, blacksheep gets a bad rap for far more than he actually does. Call me nuts but his belligerence has grown on me.
 
And for everyone complaining about the Sens fans outburst of arrogance... blame Hammond.

Also, they went 2/3 the season watching inconsistent shite, let them enjoy the ride,... each and every one of you would too.

And the Habs allowed the least amount of goals yet defense Sens? Have you seen your D after your top three?

Well, the sample size is small, but you can't argue with what Cameron has done in his short time.

Coaching is X's and O's, but it's also motivation. Cameron has the team flying.

Plus, I thought you guys have thought Therrien is a dud for awhile now.
 
You still have to give him the edge for having coached several playoff series. Come on now.

The Statistics don't support the Habs being the better defensive team. Over the course of the entire season (two-thirds of which was a shitshow for the Sens) the Habs still allowed more shots against.

When the goaltending quality was equalized over the last two months of the season we actually had the same GA/60.

We can call it even. Loose Habs edge. One less shot per game isn't significant.

EDIT: I read the wrong column. The Habs actually allowed slightly fewer shots over the course of the entire season.

Well, in the last playoff series vs. Ottawa he absolutely blew it. Beaten on the ice and in the alley.

Saying stupid stuff to the media about his captain crying in his arms. The guy is a dud.
 
Small note - one of the Sens assistant coach, Mark Reed, passed away at 55 today from cancer.

Could see an "emotional boost" from it.

And last year he went to the ecf. Dud or not you simply can't give a rookie coach the edge. It's silly.
 
Your emotional boost comes from the withering Murray. Every time the players see him they want to win for him.

Defensive Edge - I like the Habs personnel (mostly because they can have PK or Markov on the ice pretty much all game), but the Sens system/team play
Goaltending - Habs
Special Teams - Even
Coaching - Toss up
