Les Habitants Prospects Thread

To me, in terms of where they slot on a team, Suzuki & Zegras are one & the same. Cue the Pointing Spiderman meme.

They're average sized #2 centers on contending teams. I prefer Suzuki to Zegras.

I know the Habs would never do it, but what I wonder is, would a trade built around Suzuki for Zegras be possible?
?? You just said the Habs would never do it, so you know the answer. It’s no.

Sure, but I don't care if the Habs would or wouldn't do it. If everything is based around whether the Habs would do it or not, why have a forum?

I like the thought process behind it.

I guess I don't understand your question then. Would such a trade be possible if none of the people in charge had a say in it? Then yes. In term of value, it's close. But the Habs won't trade their captain for Zegras.

HF Boards is your friend if you like trade scenarios that will never happen in real life.

Chalk another one up in the might be something, might be nothing, but...

Our fourth round pick out of Russia, d-man Bogdan Konyushkov, is leading the KHL in icetime among all players. 6 points in 10 games so far as well.

Turning 21 in late December, so not overly old either. Only downside is that he's not going to be coming to North America for a while due to his KHL contract.

Worth keeping an eye on in the next few years.

So I checked the BU website...and they list Lane at 5'10 162lbs...pretty big jump from hockeydb where he's 5'9 148lbs
