Prices will come down when fans demonstrate to ownership that they will no longer pay for what they're being given. In other words, on the 12th of never. Fans have all the power yet they refuse to exercise it. All it would take is for people to put their wallets away. But they won't do it. They will never do it. In fact, they line up practically demanding that the Habs take their money. Ownership would be foolish not to take it.

When enough fans start making this a condition of their financial support, it might happen. But you're always first in line to give them your money without asking for a thing in return other than to be assured that there will be 20 random players wearing Habs jerseys on the appointed date and time. You never demand that the players in those jerseys actually be any good at hockey.
