Oops, must have just missed him while going through my list.

Right now he's at - 22 GP, 6 G, 14 A, 20 PTS, 8 PIM.

Re: Les Habitants Prospects Thread - 08'-09' update

Hahaha, I'm listening to the Bulldogs game right now. Their announcers are hilarious.

Glumac scored on the powerplay (tipping home Shawn Belle's shot from the point) and the Toronto PA guy announced the goal was Stewart from Weber and they are just RIPPING him.

Re: Les Habitants Prospects Thread - 08'-09' update

Desjardins is standing on his head. Shots are 25-6 for the Marlies... still 1-0 Dogs though.

Re: Les Habitants Prospects Thread - 08'-09' update

I can't find a final roster, but I've read that Maxim Trunev didn't make Team Russia.

Re: Les Habitants Prospects Thread - 08'-09' update

Oh wow, I just noticed that Hockey's Futures has O'Byrne ranked as our #3 prospect.

Re: Les Habitants Prospects Thread - 08'-09' update

Mentioned this in the World Junior thread but here it is again:

I know it's only an exhibition game but I'm liking what I'm seeing from our two players.

Subban is on the first PP unit with Tavares, Hodgson, Eberle and Ellis. It's sort of a weird setup because they have Subban playing in the slot. They're only 1-for-4 through two periods but the puck movement has been awesome and they're winning the majority of the battles.

Torp plays with an edge. He's not overly big (5'11", 194) but he's throwing the body around and isn't backing down from the Canadian players. Haven't seen any offense from him though.

Hamilton 2, Manchester 0

1. HAM - Mike Glumac 12 (Belle, Weber) 18:45 - PP.

Second period:
No scoring.

Third period:
2. Yanick Lehoux 7 (Pacioretty, Glumac) 5:31 - EV.

Goalie:
Desjardins makes 35 saves for the win and shutout.

Re: Les Habitants Prospects Thread - 08'-09' update

I think he's just more of an experience guy for the Dogs. More of a career AHLer.

28 years old, 6'2", 200 lbs. Right handed shot.

Has 13 points in 40 career NHL games (with the Blues over three seasons).

Re: Les Habitants Prospects Thread - 08'-09' update

He has decent size and weight and doesn't look like the blues gave him a great chance with 40 games.

Re: Les Habitants Prospects Thread - 08'-09' update

The 'Dogs had a another great game tonight. Desharnais with two goals while Lehoux had 1 goal and an assist.

Max Pac with another 2 assist tonight making it 17assist in the 29 games this season. I think this young talented power forward is starting to progress very quickly; especially with the added time he gets with D'Ago and Maxwell in Montreal. He needs to work on his scoring as he only has 3 goals so far this year though.

Desjardins stopped 39 of 41 shots for the victory.
