This is a valid point....we need everyone picking up their drafted players as they go, (and dropping players/prospects ro make room if/when necessary) otherwise we'll run into the situation where some people will be going over their roster max limit, then making 2-1, 3-1, 4-1, trades and circumventing league rules in the process.
25 roster players, 30 minor leaguer roster limit is in effect the moment the draft kicks off, which is in effect the beginning of our league season.
I'm still new so not sure what's happened in the past, but when can we start throwing guys on the DL, then? I thought we could go above the limits for now as long as we got back below by the start of the season (either cutting guys or throwing them on the DL). Plus would be nice to know who drafts the unprotected guys to not have to cut people needlessly.
I'll live with whatever rules we decide to go by, but would be nice to confirm so that I know when to drop guys.
