I mean, yeah, I'd agree, if that's in an elementary school library it shouldn't be.

Not entirely sure we didn't have books that found their way into our libraries that shouldn't be either though. Seems like more of a one-off than a curriculum?

Well some of these books are on the curriculum list. I think there are a lot of misunderstandings about what’s in curriculum however books like this one send a bad message.

Any links to any of this stuff….like the name of the book the image from above is from, and the curriculum list at a k-8 school it’s on (and being given to 5 year olds??)

what constitutes “these books are on the curriculum list”?….is it a series, for what grades, etc.

Haha, I almost referenced this in my last post…..without links or evidence to prove these are being handed to 5 year olds, it’s kinda hard to comment on them as if it’s a fact, and not anecdotal.

I did a search and not one hit from any other major media new outlet besides Fox.

Based on the graphic content of the book if this was accessible to pre teen children it would be talked about nation wide

In my day, we walked 10 miles, up hill both ways to see a scrambled titty....kids these days don't know how easy they have it.

5yr olds aren't ever reading a book like that of course even if you gave it to them.

but there were always legendary "special" books hidden deep in the library that we would search out as kids.
