OT: American Politics

Altair loves comparing apples to oranges.

One country doesn’t spend as much as 20.

Yet that one country spends close to double of the next one on the list.

So stupid and really the only way he can argue because there’s no leg to stand on.

Rosenstein went out of his way to say that no American was aware they were communicating with agents of the GRU. Gee, I wonder why?

and a reminder that McConnell blocked all congressional investigation into russian interference prior to the election.

and stole a supreme court seat at the same time.

the greatest traitor in history? likely.

You're so full of horseshit.

You say Canada needs to spend 2 percent of GDP because and somehow we're solid contributors if we do, never mind that we would never come close to US spending on defense, yet when the script is flipped, and the US spends less as a percentage of its GNI or GDP than what they agreed to internationally, a laggard really, it's suddenly okay because you spend close to double what the next largest contributor does.

Hypocrite.

Heh

You don’t know the meaning of the word.

Keep freeloading though, the world is used to it. It’s okay because Canadians are soooo polite!

You don’t pay 2% because you know the USA would bail you out. It’s rich you think it’s the Americans that are despicable. Mooch.

Roger Stone tells CNN he does not believe he is the unnamed person in the indictment: “My contact with the campaign in 2016 was Donald Trump. I was not in regular contact with campaign officials.” From @mj_lee cnn.com/politics/live-

lmao.

"I didn't have contact with the Trump campaign, just with Trump!"

Funny thing is, you’re oblivious to it. My cousin is a retired captain from the Canadian military and even he admits you rely heavily on the states.

Must be an affront to your manhood no? Knowing US military women have to come to your aid? Oof, the misogynistic embarrassment you must feel.

He’s trying to say he had no contact with those indicted. Trump hasn’t been.

It is a stupid statement though.

You don’t pay 0.7% because you know the the world would bail you out. It’s rich you think it’s the the global community is that despicable. Mooch.

@alexwagner

Trump says he is an expert on denuclearization because his uncle John was a nuclear scientist and “I used to talk nuclear with him.”

Delicious.

Your insecurity is showing Canuck.

Canada can’t pay 2% anyway. They should just admit it. Why pay to protect yourself? Money better spent on social entitlements. I know the mentality up there. It’s amazing just how you deluded yourselves into thinking you’re actually doing your share in protecting yourselves when the entire world, entirely, knows you’re protected by your bigger cousin to the south. Just get over yourself, admit it and move on.

Protection from who. Alaska?

The best part for me here is watching Habsy parrot Trump's deflection.

NATO was discussing Russian aggression against Ukraine when Trump deflected onto an issue that NATO nations had already agreed to with the Obama administration.

You just don't like the tables turned yank.

When it's America not spending what they said they would, not meeting their international obligations, you suddenly turn it to a oranges to apples situation, when it is not.

In both cases, our countries said that they would spend a certain percent of GDP (or GNI) to fulfill international obligations, and while Canada doesn't meet theirs for defense, America is a laggard in terms of foreign aid. While I will be first to admit that canada is a laggard on defense, you still cannot bring yourself to admit that your country spends a paltry 0.19 out of the promised 0.7 percent of GNI on foreign aid, and is a freeloader in that department. You fall back on, but we give the most in actual dollars, which is not counting how big the US economy is. The only comparable to the US economy is the European economy, and they outspend the US by a 3-1 ratio.

So don't talk to me about insecurity, you can't even admit your nations own failings while you try to criticize others.

As for the 2 percent of GDP, I have a excellent suggestion. We, in canada, need to draft every canadian citizen over the age of 65 into our military, and since pension costs count towards defense spending, we could count the pension contributions given to every canadian over the age of 65 as defense spending.

There, 2 percent. I hope trump would be happy with that. It's pretty much what Greece does to reach 2 percent, you don't hear trump bitching about them.

I think you know how full of shit you are.

Your piggy bank to the south is closed.

Pay your ****ing bills you mooching freeloaders.

While you’re at it, try getting a currency that’s actually worth something.

Agreed to but decided to wait. It’s what Canada and NATO does. Make promises with a deadline after the current administration leaves then just conveniently forgets about it. Might as well spend the money on healthcare off the backs of the USA military. Deplorable!
