Too bad about AC. Funny thing is there was an article in the Gazette today talking about AC's upcoming bithday and his ability to stay away from the serious injury.

it appears the injury is a bruised bone in his chest. No idea about the lenght of his absence but if no damage was done internally, it's not a big injury.

the Alouettes aren't playing next week so maybe AC has time to heal and get back. If not, that leaves Leak 2 weeks to get ready.

Bruised sternum. Like you said, Montreal doesn't play again for two weeks; September 3rd. By then, if Leak has to play, he should be more familiar with the whole offense and more comfortable with it.

According to a team player I know, AC might be back for Sept. 3rd game. Bruised sternum and he's recovering pretty well at home.
