OT: Coronavirus Resources - and other things to not worry about

All I'm saying is, there's a huge difference between the hundred thousand people or whatever standing in protest in Zeke's video just posted, and people breaking into and stealing stuff en masse from private businesses that have nothing to do with the problem (they employ black people, they buy from minorities, they give to the community). One is a response, the other is exploiting an opportunity.

Yup. The worst we have in our lives is our BMW's getting keyed. I don't think I have any right to comment on what their emotions should be like during this time.

I've got some significant black clients and friends. None of them are okay with this. You can say it's just privilege or whatever that's talking there because they're well off, but it's okay to not just shut your brain off and say I can't possibly opine on right and wrong in this situation because I'm not the oppressed minority.

Again, I'm not defending the wrong doers but that's easy for me to say while I've never been mistreated by a cop in my life and sip on my craft beer on my deck while eating homemade fish tacos. If you or I were in their position I don't know what we'd do. So I'm not going to pretend I'm a better person. I'm white and living the life. It's easy to be a "good" person in my position.

Well these are people with social media followings in the millions, some of whom came from nothing and could easily sympathize with the looting since they don't need to pretend to know what it feels like to be oppressed minorities, and they don't seem to agree with these braindead positions just because race is involved.
 
Like I said, every so often I need to remind myself that I'm wasting way too much time with a bunch of internet trolls who spend their days mostly just drilling farts into their couches in fucking Etobicoke.
 
Well, find the appropriate crane to pull you out of the dent you've created in yours and make your way down to California.
