Imagine, for a moment that you started a company that actually gave a flying **** about it's customers. Imagine that you believed in giving your customers the service they wanted, faster and cheaper than anyone else with top notch customer service. Imagine your company was the "XXXXX" whenever anyone anywhere ever complained about something like 'why can't microsoft/apple/whoever be more like XXXXXX'
That company is Steam.

Been saying that for a while. Like vampires, aliens, etc., go in and out of fashion every few years, and I get that, but the whole zombie thing took me completely by surprise cause on their own, zombies are so uninteresting. Thumbs up for the Walking Dead video game though, despite having not watched the show, loved the game.

And Steam seriously rocks. If you have any interest whatsoever in playing video games on your pc, and it is newer than, let's say a Commodore 64, check out Steam. And do it before the current sale ends on July 22.

I've been playing since the first one, I like Worms Armageddon myself, but supposedly Worms Revolutions gets good reviews, I've barely checked it out yet.

Yeah, the KOTOR games were great. I also got Civ 5 Gold this time around, several other games including FTL and Hotline Miami for like $2.49 each. Haven't tried them yet, but I have heard they're really good. Tropico 4 and Sleeping Dogs for around $6 each. Probably going to get Kerbal Space Program today, I have heard this game is absolutely brilliant. (Mindz, is you aren't familiar with this one, familiarize yourself with it. Right down your alley).
I will get around to 400 Days, hopefully soon. I have such a backlog of games lined up right now, it's ridiculous.

News has broken regarding the highly secretive Everquest Next project. Sounds like a combination of a traditional mmo with Minecraft building using Landmark tech. If you're unfamiliar, SOE announced early this year that they scrapped the new Everquest project they had been working on because it was too much of a straightforward continuation of EQ, essentially Everquest 3, that nobody was really satisfied with. So they decided to move in a much more ambitious direction, a gigantic sandbox and evolution of the mmo experience, with a constantly evolving world, much smarter npc's, etc.
