OT: Fanboy fight: XBox V Playstation

Never played any fallout before, but so far fallout 4 is pretty fun. Combat at low levels is kind of annoying, but love exploring and the plot so far.
 
I find if you run up and shotgun a raider in the face they can't bombard you with Molotov cocktails.

Also Battlefront is a blast. But man beginning load outs suck. I'm at level 6 and I'm still on a basic gun. Despite this my k/d ratio is pretty good.

Anyone playing this be warned, Han Solo's blaster is OP.
 
I will be diving into Witcher 2 soon. Played the first one a while back and really enjoyed it, but from what I've heard 2 & 3 are massive steps up.
 
It's right up there with Destiny as the best PS4 game I've played thus far......and easily the best single player game, it's just so damn good.
 
I'm not the biggest fan of Witcher 3 although Destiny is next on my list as it is more of my style of game (long time COD player).
 
Was going to start Witcher 2 a couple of weeks ago, but got sucked into a couple of epic Civilization 5 games instead, and am now taking Rebel Galaxy for a test drive. Pretty good so far, it's got a real Firefly vibe and is a fun little space based smuggling/exploration game.

And I think possibly I will finally break down at some point over the holidays and get a PS4/XB1 so I can take a look at Destiny (among other things).

I have only completed through Warpriest. I don't have a regular group and lfg is a shitshow...especially once you get past the first few weeks beyond the doors opening at which point you have to be an expert on all the encounters and already have touch of malice simply to get in a group.

I would say the jumping parts are annoying and don't really add much for me. Jmo.

From watching the subsequent fights, my criticism would be they are too rigid for my taste. First because you HAVE to stand here, then run over there, then stand on one spot to shoot, etc etc...and second because one person dying or screwing up this rigid routine at any point means a wipe, whereas in VoG for example you could overcome that with a good team. I just don't like it from a design perspective.

Also the carrot is rather underwhelming with raid #3. KF raid gear is pretty uninspiring to begin with, and grinding to get Harrowed versions of the same thing except 10 light higher is not an appealing prospect.

I do plan on finishing it on Normal with each character but I doubt I'll go beyond that.

oh shit. You got like 2 years worth of playing time before you hit the expansion. lol

Expansion was great, loved the story and the added stuff like runewords.

The romance was kind of funny cause the love interest looks similar to triss.
