No one should care now. As soon as Rose gets in the whole thing becomes a farce like the rest of MLB has.
We were warned 50 years ago when the AL brought in the DH rule that this day would come. The DH was the thin edge of the wedge that led to every other bad thing.

I dont like anyone who cheats the game, whether by gambling or ED'S. Those people should never get into any kind of hall of fame. All MLB is doing is rewarding the very sorts of behavior that will turn MLB into the WWE. Who knows? Maybe that's what they want? But, generally speaking you don't reward ethical transgressions like these, you punish them so that others are dissuade from imitating them. Putting guys like Rose and Bonds into the Hall only encourages more bad behavior.
