Anyone else watching Jessica Jones? I'm about 6 episodes in. It's been well reviewed but it's not quite doing it for me the way Daredevil did.

I know these series aren't about the action, but the action sequences are pretty terrible. Also there's not a strong sense of being part of a greater marvel universe which I normally enjoy.

The acting is very good, and I like the overall tone, but the plot seems pretty straight forward with one baddie.

Maybe my expectations were too, and there's still time for it to grow on me.

I watched it and enjoyed it. Daredevil was better though.

The plan though is 4 series, Daredevil, Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Then all 4 get together in "The Defenders" series. Kinda like what the movies did... Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, etc.... before uniting as the Avengers.
 
Started watching Jessice Jones with the girlfriend. She likes it, and i'm ok with it. Daredevil >>>>>>.

I can't wait for season 2 of Daredevil. Punisher :worshippy:

That was my thinking. At least with Star Wars, you don't really know what it's about and the trailers haven't given away the plot.
 
Hopefully the movie is better. That trailer kind of looks like what you would see after the movie is released, someone does a "here's the movie in 3 minutes so you don't have to go watch it" sort of thing.

Yeah, if I'm even remotely interested in a movie these days, I avoid all the trailers like the plague.

They're almost like Coles notes for the movie in video form.

I dug the trailer overall...but yeah, am a bit skeptical of the portrayal of Lex here....I was expecting brooding aspergersy Jessie Eisenberg....kind of like an outright evil version of the Zuckerberg character he played.

This fruity, wannabe Joker/Riddler type character doesn't look good at all.
 
Eisenberg always acts the same. He annoys the shit out of me.

No reason to give away so much in the trailer. And to add to it, some of the CGI looked shit. That teaser from a few days ago was perfect.
