That's why Batman has aged so good as a character. He actually has no superpowers. Takes some silliness away and you can relate more as long as you stay away from the Schumacher approach.

Those 3 Nolan movies. Wow. Fantastic.

Iron Man was better than expected but still boring.

It’s the character. The character itself has always been junk. I’m still surprised it became a franchise and sparked everything else. Downey and his guardian angel.
 
Hawkeye is a bad mother****er, agreed.

But yeah, maybe he should have gone for a cellophane arrow fired....extremely.....slowly at target floating slowly towards him. Would have been way better.
 
I mean, you just keep positing gifs of things that actually look good with modern, realistic looking effects. You don't get that you're making my point for me, do you?
 
I'd argue those Superman effects look better compared to their day than those marvel gifs I posted look now.
 
You would argue almost anything, for almost any reason though. That you would argue it, isn't in itself proof that the argument would be rooted in reality. Or good.
 
So how do you wanna get the shot chief?

Well, I figure we have him stand over a round hole and we pull out the man sized cutout when he does a half turn, we cut to the basement with an open holes and just throw a bunch of fake rocks down the hole as we lower him down.
