All very good films. I'd be wary about using the term "best" on any of them except perhaps Princess Bride and Spinal Tap. I'm also not sure I'd call Misery a horror film. But they are all home runs. Reiner didnt make shitty movies

There have been conflicting stories as to whether Stewart was or was not a racist, usually anecdotal and hard to verify. I would say that he was probably racist in the way that people of his generation were. It wasnt something at the top of their mind, just the way things were and they accepted it.
John Wayne, on the other hand, was VERY racist.
