OT: Movies/TV Shows

Down to the last 3 episodes of Breaking Bad season 5. Dreading the thought of running out of episodes. We're totally hooked. So as I've said, this lockout has forced us to take on some new shows. So far we've watched all of Homeland, Revolution and like I said, almost all of Breaking Bad.

Any more suggestions on what to download next? We started downloading The Wire. I realize that it's no longer on the air but I've heard it was amazing.
 
Californication and Dexter are excellent shows, if you're okay with adult subject matter. If you haven't watched Lost yet, I highly recommend it.

No problem with adult subject matter at all. Love Breaking Bad and Homeland. I think Dexter is probably a good call. Lost is a possibility too... seeing as we really like Revolution.
 
Dexter is a 7 season investment, and it has gotton worse since season 4, even though its still solid, its not what it used to be.

I was hounded to watch Walking Dead and i finally gave in got caught up in 4 days, 2.5 seasons....it's really worthwhile and its much more than zombie guts, if thats the wife's issue.

How many seasons is Walking Dead? I've been thinking of checking it out, only 2 seasons up on Netflix though.

Currently have season 2 of Game of Thrones, Firefly, Arrested Development and Breaking Bad lined up.

And I haven't seen The Wire myself, but have heard nothing but good things. Been on my list for a long time.

In the midst of season 3, and the half season finale is tonight.

Also season one is onl 6 episodes, so it wont take long to catch up

I know, but it came across very badly imo. There's an aura of arrogance in that film like I've never seen before.
 
Yup. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't watched it yet. But my god, what a cliffhanger! I'd better not be seeing my favourite character dying in the next episode...
 
As awesome as Walking Dead was

Boardwalk had a decent send off finale, and Dexter is still criminally mediocre, even moreso compared to the other 3 shows that are on.
 
how many episodes are they into season 2 of homeland. I just finished season 1 this weekend, and I like to download the whole lot so I can plow through them. I know SOA is on its 13th episode this tuesday, and they usually go for that long, so I am expecting it to be a season finale... is Homeland season 2 that far in??
