OT: Movies/TV Shows

And I'm done with sense8.

I gave it 9 episodes - NINE - and each episode is still about 10% plot, 90% character development. Unnecessary scene after unnecessary scene.

I strongly, strongly, suggest not bothering.

I'm on 7-th episode and I'm loving this thing, this is more like crazy|insane|crack pipe dream made televised

Love Silicon Valley... one of the top few comedies ever. Season 2 is outstanding as well. It just finished up on Sunday. So lucky you... there are still 10 episodes waiting for you.

I've given it a shot based on a couple of friends' recommendations, but I don't find it all that entertaining.

Consider me unimpressed with the 3rd season of Orange is the New Black.

Lazy finale, more bad storylines than good, and not the same appeal of 1 and 2 for me.

Post-viewing, the shock value was there - but I think they are hoping to turn Cersei's character around and are looking for some viewer empathy.

I think it's more about setting the stage for her to get back to the castle and then unleash hell on the religious zealots. I'm assuming they will be exterminated.

Watched Inside Out with my two kids today.... It's not the best Pixar movie, but they are absolute geniuses in having complex themes told in such a way that makes you smile with it's intelligence.

I found myself going back into my memories and I think it works best for adults because they have gone through those experiences. It does a great job to very subtly describe depression.

True Detective Season 2 did not get off to a great start imo. Ok, nothing great.

I actually was most intrigued by the Vince Vaughn Character. Does every cop really need to be that screwed up and tortured? Felt clichéd.

@IGN: #Hannibal has been cancelled by NBC http://t.co/goDiOiyNjE http://t.co/fKURzzDKgs

This is my favorite show on TV.

I am not concerned though, it will be picked up by another network. NBC doesnt own this show, they only lease it from the European production company that runs it. Quite frankly, NBC has never known how to promote or handle this show. It always amazed me a show like thks was on Network TV. However, it was cheap content for NBC to purchase.

I bet Netflix picks it up. The creators said last year they had deals in place if NBC didnt pick them up after season 2.

No question in my mind it will be back for a 4th season.
