Conan had a great bit last night about different directors auditioning to direct the new stars wars films with re-cuts of old star wars.
They were all good, but this is the only one I can find a video clip of.....Wes Anderson....

the "Ewok Centipede" re-cut was pretty ****ing hilarious, too.

I've been looking forward to this movie for a bit, and I kinda regret being excited for it. It looks like the only thing in common with the book is the title (and of course the fact that zombies are in it).
Very disappointed.

Started watching Homeland. Just finished season 1 episode 3. I am enjoying it and think it's pretty good. I'm a little surprised that everyone seems to think it's so amazing though. Does it get better?
Like I said, I like it but I was expecting to LOVE it with the way everyone goes on about it.

Ok...so I saw Skyfall today. Why the **** are critics going crazy over this film? It's a decent Bond film, but far from great, and far from one of the best. I liked Bardem in it a lot, and the opening sequence is terrific. That said, it has pacing issues and lacks the scope of most Bond films. It feels like they kept it in most in London for budgetary reasons. And the last half hour feels very small and a letdown for a Bond film.

i will be disappointed if this is like that. i have almost never seen hype like this for a movie. i cant recall a time in the last 2-3 weeks when i've picked up a paper and NOT seen a fawning skyfall story or review.

Given the hype, I feel there will be quite a few feeling letdown.
Like I said, there's some big positives with this film, but some negatives as well. It's just not as good as most critics claim imo.
