OT: Movies/TV Shows

Brie Larson is good in everything. Very underrated.

Room is one of the few movies that comes close to being as good as the book.

If you went into a James Bond film expecting an intellectual masterpiece....you only have yourself to blame when you're greeted by a ****ing James Bond movie.

Oh I blame myself for thinking maybe it would will some decent action scenes.

If the only thing that changed in the entire movie was the character names everybody would be on board with me.

Bautista thumb stabbing that guy in the eye holes and the ensuing car chase, the fight on the train and the gun fight at the facility, just off the top of my head, were solid action sequences.

Maybe they were solid but compared to other action movies they were not good.

Thumb stabbing just reminded me how bad ass GoT is.

I always like Moore. He had the balls to play Bond different than anyone else. And the material he worked with was for the most part horrible.

I'm not blaming Roger Moore for the dumb Bonds he had to make. He just happened to be Bond when they went that direction. It didn't stop me from seeing every one of them. Two of my favourite shows ever were The Saint and The Pursuaders, so I'm not blaming Mr Moore. I just didn't like Bond going Benny Hill.

For the comical and "Wink, Wink" direction they went, he was a good fit. He was very charming. His only good films though were really Live and Let die and the Spy who Loved Me. Moonraker is the worst James Bond ever.

Let's not rewrite history here, Moore was a disastrous Bond, especially the last 3 or 4 films. That said, coming off of Connery (Lazenby can blow me) I'm not sure Moore had a choice.
