I'm actually trying to force myself to sleep early (like midnight or 12:30) because my body and brain just can't function properly anymore on 5 hours or so of sleep.

I came home late from an event last night and started watching the Leaf game at like 12:30. Finished by like 2:15 or so. I'm ****ing worthless and exhausted today.

A couple of years ago, I'd be fine.

Oh i didn't even know there's a new season now ... gotta catch up.

I think the new season last year (season ... 11??) wasn't half bad.
 
I usually am annoyed by James Franco, but his The Disaster Artist is very good. Funny and touching with a great cast. He starred, produced and directed it. One of the better films I saw from 2017.
 
I liked what I saw, but my wife and I agreed we can't add another show...we're slaves to PVR now.

But hey, who saw the Discovery season opener?
I like where they could be going like this; this show is obviously not your grandfather Roddenberry's Star Trek. (they said ****!), so they have the chance to get pretty bloody and violent here.

If you've seen it, who do you all think the Emperor is going to be?
I'm trying to keep the timeline in mind so it can't be Spock...but who?

You just know that's going to be a Big Reveal.

Yeah, there was an episode like that in the next generation I believe where humans were there evil ones.

It would open up a slew of possibilities in storylines if Earth is the bad apple.
 
They've used this alternate universe a few times.
DS9 maybe, maybe Next generation, since they've already mentioned the Defiant...but it was in the Scott Bakula Enterpise as well.

That seen in the lift was awesome. That kind of violence, her reception on the bridge when the doors opened....just brilliant.
