Friend of mine had a role about as long ten years ago in a Denzel Washington movie. He made 50k for like 2-5 minute role. What did your cuz make, if I dare ask?

Heh, I had a friend who had such a small role on an episode of a TV series (Heroes) - he didn't have his name listed on the credits (just a generic description of said character). Not sure what he got paid for that.

Don't know, we've never talked specific $... Had pretty big parts in Bridge of Spies & Bourne back-to-back, that was big for him. I know back 15, 20 yrs ago he was picking up IT/programming contracting gigs on the side, but he hasn't needed to do that in a long while. Good dude, we're psyched for him.
 
Girl I went to school with...woman now I guess...did a season on Trailer Park Boys as Julian's girlfriend. I don't think she was in a ton of them but hey.
She actually ended up doing okay, maybe c list? She was on Defying Gravity, BSG Blood and Chrome, pretty cool.
Still run into her now and then.
 
So I finished Altered carbon series and I think it's pretty good. Yes the finale is a bit of a letdown, but i like the world it's created. I wish there's gonna be future seasons that can make use of the world it's created.
 
I didn't finish it lol.
Started, realized my wife would like it too, started again. Tablet I cast with has an old battery, buying a smart TV this weekend so I can get Netflix up so I can watch it.
 
Black Panther was rock solid, better and deeper story than i expected.

Not upper echelon Marvel good, but better than Dr Strange.

Please no more Forrest Whitaker in anything though, rest of the cast was great.
 
I want to retract what I said about the movie Hostiles. I didn't watch the whole thing. I rewatched it. Its a great movie, if, like myself, you love that time period and the interface between the native peoples and the colonists. I never knew the Comanche were such a savage tribe, never came across that before.

I just saw it tonight. 30 minutes too long imo. It was entertaining but rock solid? Meh. Worth a look though.
 
Annihilation was pretty good. It left my wanting to know more though. Great idea/concept but not the best at delivering. Well worth a watch though.
 
oscars last night provided no real shocks

still need to see a few more of the best picture noms though
