OT: Movies/TV Shows

He's awful now but I'm pretty sure this might be fake news. His contract expires in December. Not a cancellation, just possibly a lack of renewal. Though I'd prefer if anyone but the Sun reported this to truly believe it.
I can't imagine a scenario where they don't offer him a new contract. They might offer less money and effectively "cancel" the show... but even then, I don't see it. There will be a massive number of cancellations as soon as he signs off for the last time.

Yeah I think the Sun is just posting maga bait. It worked. Maga is very excited about this. Not a very reliable source of news though.

Bet Spotify would pay him more than Sirius and he could just make his own hours. And he’d have a bigger audience.

He’s the Democrat Joe Rogan really. Just no one has Sirius.

I've had Sirius for nearly 7 years. It has saved me from ever having to listen to Edmonton terrestrial radio while I'm driving. The threat of accidentally hearing a country song as I spin through the dial in this town is reason enough to pay for a subscription.

But here's the thing, for those of you who don't know. The Stern channel is a significant added cost to your monthly subscription. It is what drives revenue for Sirius. Always has. Without Stern, revenues plummet. Satellite radio is a one horse town. There's Sirius and there's nothing. XM used to be a competitor but it was absorbed by Sirius and, to my knowledge, no other competitor exists. This tells us that demand is limited. If Stern goes, demand only goes in one direction after that and it's not up.

What the hell was all the noise about for Adolescence?

Super basic, pretty boring at times, and the final episode was a throwaway. It just gave a platform to the kid to put on an acting clinic in his scenes, but apart from that, it was just a long, boring 80s movie of the week.
