OT: NFL Thread

Jags taking Etienne was a surprise since they already have a good RB. Bills must have been pissed. I knew Pitt was taking Harris. He’s the prototypical Steelers RB. Great fit there.
I can’t believe they did that. I’m also pretty sure that’s who the Bills would have taken.

drafting a RB in the first round is kind of dumb, quite frankly

Totally agreed unless its a generational HOF freak , and its a higher pick

I don't mind in the low 20`s if your convinced that player is gone before your next pick

Same with WR`S and TE`S ….. most of the top ones in the league were not first rounders

You can get a premier pro bowl LB, OT, or safety rather than the other 2 positions that are the sexy picks

The issue isn't taking the RB in the first round as much as it is giving them a second contract. If you draft a consistent, every down RB that gets 1,200 yards / season for 3-4-5 seasons, then you got value. Let him walk and start over.

Yeah, taking a RB early in draft is dumb and no matter how much Count wants to argue otherwise, taking Zeke instead of Ramsey was really stupid.

Is that you, Mel?
Later in the first round is fine. Top 15, I agree, is dumb for a player likely to only have 5 very productive seasons, if that.

there's too many good backs that come out of college every year

I don't know what to think about Barmore. A guy that Alabama didn't play against the run.

My 'Boys got Boss Man Fat, I like.

He was injured in the Buffalo game and should never have returned. Then Cincy.

These fucking guys never learn. Coaches and players alike.
