OT: Soccer thread

GK Borjan (35, 68 Caps): Longtime starting Keeper for top Serbian side Red Star. solid.

LCB Miller (25, 54 Caps): Starting center back for top MLS side Montreal.
CB Vitoria (35, 35 Caps): Starting center back for middling Chaves in Portugal.
RCB Johnston (24, 33 Caps): Starting right back for top MLS side Montreal.

Obviously a weakness. Not really world class talent here.

CM Eustaquio (25, 26 Caps): Starting midfielder for top Portuguese side Porto. Starting to look really good.
CM Hutchinson (39, 98 Caps): Longtime captain and starting midfielder for top Turkish side Besiktas. Obviously old but still very solid.
LW Adekugbe (27, 34 Caps): Starter for middling turkish side Hatayspor.
RW Buchanan (23, 26 Caps): Coming off the bench for top belgian side Brugge.

This is looking like a legit group with the seeming breakout for Eustaquio in european competition this year.

AM Davies (22, 34 Caps): Stud starter for one of the best teams in the world. Could break out into a legit superstar.
ST David (22, 35 Caps): One of the top scorers in France for top team Lille. Getting interest from some top Euro teams.
ST Larin (27, 55 Caps): Coming off the bench for top Belgian side Brugge.
* AM Kone (20, 6 Caps): Starter for top MLS side Montreal. Euro teams are very interested.

This is where the world class talent is. Honestly enough talent to turn into one of the most dangerous attacking groups in the world this tourney. They can cause any defense trouble, especially a vulnerable one like Belgium's.

Can't drink inside during the game...but that also seems to be the case in soccer matches held in France, Spain, and Scotland....so not a big deal IMHO

Walking back commitments days before a major event (including moving fan sites far away from the stadiums) is concerning.

I mean, they are loaded with talent. But they are taking some crazy heavy losses. Apart from Brazil, no other team at WC could sustain these kinds of injuries and viewed as credible. Maybe France can, but it will be a stretch.
