Free speech means having to listen to everybody's thoughts on everything, I'm pretty sure.

I'll never put anyone on ignore because then free speech dies. Except WeHave, but he's clearly a cunt bot and absolutely not a real person.

Exactly, the speaker must be heard by anyone they want to be heard by and crucially, no negative consequences are allowed for anything the speaker says. Last part is super important.

That is exactly why I'm against it.

Reputation matters too. If someone is an known goofball, which implies they have been heard, I think it’s OK to ignore. It’s a form of non-verbal communication and often more dignified than the verbal response.
