I've seen this take a lot during the world cup and I don't get it. VAR has stopped some really, really horrific, game deciding decisions from happening, has been pretty quick most of the time (a few long ass ones nothwithstanding) and has mostly led to the right call happening.

I mean, just in this example, fuck this guy for flopping on a yellow card. Stop going to ground like a bitch trying to draw bullshit whistles.

It was a pretty egregious dive tbh. Far worse than Totti's in 2002 vs South Korea (which wasn't actually a dive).

Italy had arguably their best team of all time in 2002 and the ref shit canned them for a dive far less aggressive than this by a ref caught in match fixing scandals at a later date. I have no sympathy. This was actually a dive and should have been a yellow.
