The Australian Open is typically the worst GS of the year, mostly because it's the first major of the tennis season and a lot of the players are not in top form yet. It's also too damn hot.
As for S. Williams, it's women's tennis, so who cares? Just saying.

ESPN coverage of the women has been awful IMO. Not sure who the main host is but she is terrible and man does Chris Evert ever get on your nerves with her constant critiques of players. Last night she ripped both players in the Sharapova match saying they should do this, do that, not do this, not do that... reminds me of the girl who does the Canadian Olympic Diving analysis when the Olympics are on... she just tears every dive apart.
Only thing I agree with her about seems to be Maria's loud grunts on every swing. You can tell that bothers the shit out of Evert.
On the flipside... wouldn't mind seeing more of Mary Jo Fernandez... she has aged quite nicely.

Evert is pretty bitchy in the studio but she was nice to Roger Federer last night.

Yeah, McKendry... she's awful.
Tennis is lucky that the top 3 guys are all nice guys and fun to interview. Then there is Andy Murray who just comes across like an a-hole.

Djokovic best buddy is Tipsarevic who is the guy that Raonic beat in the final in India recently. Did anyone see his wife in the stands... whoa... very babe'ish. Milos could get some of that if he moves up.

Nah, he's a total dbag. His main problem though is coming up at a time with arguably the two best of all time and one who had the best year of all time.

THe only time I enjoyed hearing grunt was one of the Wimbledon matchs between Sharpie and Venus!!! That was quite entertaining as Venus matched her no problem on the grunt-o-meter... only Venus' sounded more like a roar. :smilewinkgrin:
