Monfils and Tsonga are both in Vancouver. Monfils is scheduled to play.

However, Raonic has been pulled from his match vs. Tsonga. He hurt his knee.

Dancevic has had some good results in the past.

I think injuries may have slowed him down. But again, his game depends on his serve too (which is good).

Raonic was the only hope we had of beating Tsonga or Monfils.

I didn't like the decision to have him in the doubles. It's now even more costly.

His name is Monfils not Monfilis ;)

Canada never really had a shot... unless they had a strong Canadian doubles of the past (Nestor/Lareau)... Then maybe we had a chance for the upset imo.

They had a shot if the doubles team won and Raonic was the guy playing Tsonga or Monflis. No other way.

Raonic is in another tournament final. Going for repeat at the SAP open. He will be playing either Julien Benneteau or Denin Istomin (who beat Roddick in the QF's) in the finals.

Melzer is a tricky opponent but Raonic still got a good shot at the title.

Raonic looked tired. Does he move up in the rankings this time? Somehow he went down after winning the last tourney.

Wow... Raonic won a set? I'm actually impressed as he is eons away from being in the same class as the top 3.

Not too shabby at this stage of his career.

apparently he was too Canadian and didn't challenge a call he should have challenged

I went to bed after the first set. Too tired, as I'm sick. But I had a feeling Roger would turn things around.

Yeah, Raonic could have challenged three calls but chose not to.
