Porter arraigned; girlfriend has fractured vertebra

Prosecutors say the girlfriend of Kevin Porter Jr. suffered a fractured neck vertebra and other injuries during an alleged attack by the Rockets guard.

NEW YORK -- Houston Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr.'s alleged attack on his girlfriend at a New York City hotel left the woman with a fractured neck vertebrae and a cut above her right eye, prosecutors revealed at his arraignment Tuesday.

Porter, 23, is charged with felony assault and strangulation in connection with the incident Monday at the Millennium Hilton near the United Nations in Manhattan. He was not required to enter a plea during his brief court appearance.

Porter, who had been in police custody since his arrest around 6:45 a.m. Monday, was ordered to post $75,000 cash or obtain a $100,000 bond to secure his release. He was also ordered to stay away from his girlfriend, former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick.

NBA Insiders at ESPN propose OG, Boucher, Young, Dick, 2 firsts for Lillard. Said Portland might want to push for Scottie instead of OG.
 
Said it during the KD sweepstakes but OG + Gary is a hell of a starting point for a superstar acquisition and as good as OG is at what he does, we kind of need a starting spot for Scottie and if we're not trading Pascal, well fuck. It also gets us most of the way to a salary match without having to use Thad, or probably even Grady. Turn around and fill that SG hold with Hield (fuck it, re sign him) for picks + salary (thad + boucher) and we've got a squad

I think we fundamentally need to decide whether we're all in or not and pick a direction. This would be a legit contender in the east that is a "Marc Gasol" type move for another impact veteran away from ring chasing.
 
Marc Spears saying we have serious interest in Dame and are the front runners. Masai has had several conversations with the Blazers.

I think OG+Trent, 2 firsts and 2 pick swaps is about what is needed if he agrees to come and i honestly probably do any deal that does not include Pascal or Barnes.
